Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Will safely and accurately monitor and repair golf course and club house irrigation systems, including but not limited to: Pump station, pipe, valves, heads and satellite controllers

Job Tasks/Duties

· Diagnostic evaluation and repair of irrigation system. Including but not limited to: Pump stations, piping, valves, heads, central controller, satellite controllers, and electrical control systems.

· Maintaining proper moisture levels of turf and landscaping to enhance playability and aesthetics. Identify excessively wet/dry areas and address proactively.

· Maintain proper inventory levels of irrigation heads, fittings, pipe, hose and all materials necessary to complete repairs in a timely manner within budget guidelines.

· Maintaining the irrigation facility and all associated equipment in a clean and organized manner.

· Wearing appropriate Proper Protective Equipment for all assignments.

· Other tasks as assigned by management

Licenses and Special Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Golf Maintenance experience desired.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• The nature of this position is physical, and requires long periods of time walking, standing or stooping.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able read, write and speak basic English.
• This position works in an outside environment and all associated weather conditions.
• Must be in compliance with and support a Drug Free Workplace Policy.
• Requires flexible work schedule. Will work weekends and holidays. May be required to work odd hours under emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
